Between September 25th and 28th, Ecuadorian businessmen from the cosmetics and cleaning products sector will visit Guatemala and El Salvador to showcase their products.
This event is being organized by the Trade Office of the Embassy of Ecuador in Guatemala and will be held at the Barceló Hotel in Guatemala and El Salvador.
It has been reported that in the first two months of 2017 cosmetics exports totaled almost $12 million, followed by personal care products, with $9 million.
Of the $54.8 million generated from the export of beauty and personal care products fromGuatemala, 54% corresponded to articles classified as "Home Care", equivalent to $29 million. According to data from theCosmetics Comission at Agexport, the second most important groups of products in terms of export earnings were those classified as "Cosmetics", with 22% of the total, followed by products for "Personal care", with 16%.
The year's end balance for the cosmetics industry reveals a noteworthy total amount of exports, with overseas sales up to October projected to be above $200 million.

The meeting in Guatemala will focus on various manufacturing segments, cosmetics, plastics, wood and food and beverages.
The 8th. edition of MANUFEXPORT Retail Supply will be held from on Septemberg 7th-8th 2016 in Santo Domingo del Cerro, Antigua Guatemala.

Trends in Beauty Market in Mexico.
The market for personal care and cosmetics in Mexico ended 2013 with sales of $10,843,000, which placed it in tenth position in the world below markets such as France, Russia and Italy, according to Euromonitor International.
Over the next few years an increase in Mexican's consumption of body care, facial and makeup products is forecasted.
