A new online system has been announced for processing food and beverage registrations, renewing those already held and making mutual recognitions within the framework of the customs union.
"...The SISAM is a module of the National Health Information System (SUIS) of the Ministry of Health, which streamlines internal and external processes of the Environmental Health Department, and its general objective is to provide users with heath registrations for food products and the mutual recognition processes included in the Central American Technical Regulations (RTCA)."

During the month of February, the price of WTI (West Texas Intermediate) in the Gulf Coast of the United States had an average value of $50.25 per barrel, a reduction of 12.19% compared to the previous month.
The average monthly income received by Salvadoran households increased from $506 in 2012 to $556 in 2013.
In urban areas, the median household income was $660.9, an increase of $66 compared to 2012. In rural areas, the average monthly income per household was $361.82, up by $23.4 in relation to 2012, according to the Multi-Purpose Household Survey presented by the Ministry of Trade and Industry (MINEC).
