On October 15 and 16, Costa Rica will host an international congress for companies in the life sciences sector.

May 17, 2018.On October 15 and 16, Costa Rica will be the meeting point for high-level exhibitors in the life sciences industry, decision makers of the world's leading companies in the sector, key suppliers, consulting firms, among others, in the fourth edition of the Life Sciences Forum Costa Rica 2018, organized by the Costa Rican Coalition of Development Initiatives (CINDE).
From October 9 to 10 representatives of medical device manufacturers will be taking part in an international forum in San Jose.

San Jose, 14 September 2016.Costa Rica will be hosting the third edition of the biggest Latin American forum in the field of Life Sciences, which is the Life Sciences Forum Costa Rica 2016, organized by the Costa Rican Coalition for Development Initiatives (CINDE), the agency in charge of attracting foreign investment to the country.
The Social Security Department in Panama is putting out to tender the supply, storage, transportation and on-demand delivery of medicines for hospitals and polyclinics for a term of one year.
Public tender No. 01-2013 is for unit pricing for the supply, storage, transportation and delivery, as required, of drugs, special medicines: narcotics and controlled substances, biological and biotechnological and other materials that are set in the SO, its addendums and attachments for hospitals, clinics and other places established by the social security department at national level during a term of twelve (12) months minimum that covers the fiscal year and any extensions to the term of this public event which may be necessary in order to fulfill the obligations of the tender conditions and the best interests of the social security department, according to the provisions of the tender conditions, its addendums and attachments.
The Social Security Department is inviting bids for the supply of equipment for self-monitoring of patients with diabetes mellitus for a period of 36 months, renewable.
The scheduled date for submission of bids is 11 December 2012. The approval meeting will be on November 19, 2012.
For the bid period (36 months) the number of patients estimated to be served is 30,000 users.
The Panamanian Social Security Department is inviting bids for the supply of Self-monitoring equipment for patients with diabetes mellitus.
The requisition is to contract a supply of self-monitoring equipment for patients with diabetes mellitus on behalf of the Social Security Department for a period of 36 months, renewable.
The contractor will make his own arrangements regarding the delivery of the contracted equipment and will carry out the delivery with their own staff, at their expense and under their sole responsibility.

The Social Insurance Department has issued a tender for the supply, storage, transportation and delivery of medications to hospitals and clinics over the period of one year.
Addendum No. 3 Public Tender 01-2011–II A call for fixed unit prices on the supply, storage, transportation and delivery of drugs and special medications: including narcotics and controlled substances, biological, biotechnological and other materials (as set out in the conditions of tender, its addenda and attachments) to hospitals, clinics and other places managed by the Social Insurance Department nationwide, during the term of 12 months minimum.
The Social Security Department (Caja de Seguro Social) is putting out to tender 12 new rooms to be used for hemodialysis, on 15 July.
The announcement was made by the Director of National Medical Care Services and the Social Security Department in his recent visit to the Chiriqui area.
The director added that as well as the units themselves,10 machines will be added to the hemodialysis unit at the Hospital Rafael Hernández (HRRH).
