On October 15 and 16, Costa Rica will host an international congress for companies in the life sciences sector.

San Jose Costa Rica. May 17, 2018.On October 15 and 16, Costa Rica will be the meeting point for high-level exhibitors in the life sciences industry, decision makers of the world's leading companies in the sector, key suppliers, consulting firms, among others, in the fourth edition of the Life Sciences Forum Costa Rica 2018, organized by the Costa Rican Coalition of Development Initiatives (CINDE).
A study by Procomer analyzes the market for the manufacture of medical devices in the North American country, made up of 5,348 companies, of which 91% are small businesses.

The Canadian medical device industry, was valued at $ USD3.107 million in 2015, it is characterized by being integrated to all the links of the value chain, from applied research to the manufacture of the final product, favored by factors such as availability of human talent, the facility for carrying out clinical studies and a collaborative environment between industry, government and research centers.
From October 9 to 10 representatives of medical device manufacturers will be taking part in an international forum in San Jose.
