The industrial trade fair in Guatemala conducted 1,120 business meetings in which deals worth $100 million were struck.
The figure exceeded the $15 million originally expected by its organizer, the Guatemalan Chamber of Industry, and it was visited by 8,000 people, 2,000 more than expected.

In just one day $1 million worth of business was conducted between Taiwanese and Guatemalan firms.
The results of the Induexpo trade fair were unexpected. The company Campus Corp, one of the exhibitors at the event, announced a $1 million investment for the distribution of $9 fans.
According to an article by Roxana Larios in Siglo21.com.gt: "The firm was one of 26 companies which presented their wares in the fourth edition of InduExpo 2011, which estimates that at the Taiwanese pavilion $2 million worth of businesses was carried out, but which over the course of the year which could translate to contracts worth about $16 million, explained the manager of the Taiwan External Trade Development Council Exhibition (TAITRA), Gina Yeh."
26 companies from China will take part in the international business meeting to be held in Guatemala.
In order to further strengthen the commercial ties that unite Taiwan with Guatemala, the Asian nation will participate as an exhibitor at Induexpo 2011, where 26 companies who already have a presence in Central America will showcase their products and services.
On 22nd and 23rd of June, in the Parque de La Industria, close to 1000 business meetings will be held .

The Chamber of Industry of Guatemala will hold the industrial fair from the 21st to the 24th of June at the Industrial Park.
The organizers aim to engage 10.000 businessmen and to enhance the attractiveness of the region from the industrial perspective.
Arturo Zimeri, from the Chamber of Industries of Guatemala, noted that the event will showcase the value of each country's industry from a regional perspective.
