The Honduran government approved the adjustment to the price of freight for the transport of fuel to the interior, which was set at $2.42 per kilometer, which corresponds to the cost per round trip.
The new tariff was made official by means of the Sen-026-2019 Agreement, which was issued by the authorities of the Secretariat of Energy and published last October 24.
The company AES Panama launched its liquefied natural gas storage system in the province of Colon, from where it plans to supply the entire Central American region.

The Spanish company DF Duro Felguera in Panama will be building a terminal for oil storage for the company Vopak in Bahia Las Minas, province of Colon.

DF has been awarded, through its subsidiary Felguera IHI, a contract for the execution of a fuel supply terminal for ships and oil storage at Bahia Las Minas (Colon Province), on the Atlantic coast of Panama.
A resolution approving the environmental impact study submitted by Vertikal Corporation to build a pipeline to supply Tocumen airport has been revoked.
The National Environmental Authority (ANAM) reversed the decision claiming that the environmental impact study submitted by the company Vertikal Corporation should be category III not II, as "... not all of the risks of fuel transfer were measured." The study presented by the company had been approved by the previous administrator Anam, Silvano Vergara.
Telfer Tanks has been granted a concession for the operation and management of a storage terminal and pumping stations in the province of Colon.

"The Cabinet Council authorized the Minister of the Presidency to conclude the Contract for Administration and Operation of a fuel free zone with the company TELFER TANKS, INC., whose investment exceeds 52 million dollars.
The limited information presented by the state run refinery RECOPE shows that the Costa Rican government will bear the entire risk of the $1.5 billion project.
