The Honduran government approved the adjustment to the price of freight for the transport of fuel to the interior, which was set at $2.42 per kilometer, which corresponds to the cost per round trip.
The new tariff was made official by means of the Sen-026-2019 Agreement, which was issued by the authorities of the Secretariat of Energy and published last October 24.

In 2015 3.7 million metric tons of marine fuel were sold in Panama, 16.2% more than in 2014.
According to preliminary figures from the Maritime Authority of Panama, of the 3.7 million metric tons of marine fuel sold in 2015, 3.4 million were Fuel Oil and 252,521 Marine Diesel Oil. The number of ships catered for also increased, going from 4,699 in 2014 to 5,699 in 2015, reflecting an increase of 21.2%.
The country's ethanol producer has stopped supplying the additive to fuel distribution companies.

MINEC announces new variations on the reference prices for fuel
The Department of Regulattion of Hydrocarbons and Mines at the Ministry of Economy announced on November 25th, new variations on the reference prices for fuel, which will be effective from 26 November to 9 December 2013.
In Guatemala Grupo Tomza has launched a plan to convert gasoline engines to use propane gas, at an average cost of $1,000.
The company recently made a presentation of the project in which it will invest $90,000.
"All investments are welcome in this country, because things like this will help family economies and contribute to the environment. This plan is important because energy prices often hit Guatemalans hard," said the president, Otto Perez Molina.
