Lack of contribution to the system by the company Westport will make contracting electricity services indispensible in order to meet the demand for the rest of 2012 and the end of next year.
An article in Elheraldo.hn reports that "The National Electricity Company (ENEE) is looking at contracting about 40 megawatts of power generated by thermal plants or to buy it from local firms operating in Guatemala, in light of the breach of contract by the company Westport in meeting the demand for electricity in three regions.
