The Presidential Program Ciudad de la Mujer de Honduras tenders the implementation of a virtual version of the courses that make up the initial training and induction of the institution's officials.

"The general objective of the tender is to produce a virtual version of the courses that make up the initial training and induction of the CCM officials and of the services provided in the different modules and to generate capacities in the officials who will serve as instructors for the delivery of the same.
On January 10, Laureate International agreed to sell Universidad Latina to the US conglomerate SP Costa Rica Holdings, a transaction that amounted to $22 million.
The agreement was that SP Costa Rica Holdings would make an initial payment of $15 million and the remaining $7 million would be cancelled within two years, if income and new student enrollment goals are met.

The World Bank has approved a loan to improve the quality of education of middle and high school students.

More than 41,000 middle and high school students in El Salvador will have access to quality education as a result of a proposed $60 million loan approved today by the World Bank's Executive Board.
The "Project for Improvement of Educational Quality" will support public schools in 29 municipalities in adopting an Inclusive School Full Time model (EITP in Spanish), in order to increase access rates, retention and graduation from high school and college.
With a total investment of $5.7 million the Government intends to increase the technological resources at the disposal of students.
The Ministry of Science and Technology has delivered more than 5,000 computers to 84 public education institutions, which will benefit over 55,000 students, investing some $2.3 million.
This investment is part of a program entitled Broadening Information Technology and Communication, whose resources come from the Program for Strengthening Social Cohesion in the Education Sector of El Salvador (Pro-EDUCA), with which computers worth a total of $ 5.7 million will be donated.
