In March the consumer price index recorded a rise of 0.24% compared to February, and accumulated variation so far this year of 1.10%.

In February, the consumer price index registered a variation of 0.34% compared to December, and an accumulated variation so far this year of 0.86%.

In November the consumer price index recorded a monthly variation of 0,39%, making inflation accumulated so far this year 4,22%.
The National Statistics Institute of Guatemala has reported that the Consumer Price Index for November 2016 stood at 126.82, recording a monthly variation of 0.39%, and compared to November last year, the variation was 4.67%.
In April, the consumer price index registered a variation of 0.17%, accumulating inflation in the first three months of the year of 1.50%.

The monthly variation of 0.17% in April 2016, shows a slowdown compared to April 2015 (0.34%), while cumulative and annual variation recorded an acceleration in price levels.
The consumer price index varied by 0.37% in June compared to May, placing accumulated inflation in the year at 1.08%.

The categories of Transport and Food accounted for the monthly increase of 0.31% in the consumer price index in February.

In December 2014, the consumer price index recorded a monthly decline of 0.11%, closing the year at 2.95%, down from the 4.39% inflation recorded in 2013.
