A group of industrial companies in the South American country plan to visit the country in late April to explore business opportunities with Nicaraguan businessmen.
The Chilean delegation is composed of representatives from the public and private sectors related to the industrial and recycling area, in order to find out about market and investment opportunities in Nicaragua.
A group of ten companies from Mexico will be visiting the country to explore business opportunities in the mining sector.
The trade mission from the Mexican state of Zacatecas, which also includes providers of services, products and consulting, will meet with representatives of the Nicaraguan Mining Chamber for three days to study investment opportunities in the mining sector.
On April 27th and 28th Mexican businessmen will be visiting the country to explore business and investment opportunities in textiles, food, construction and infrastructure and services.
The business meetings will be held at the Chamber of Commerce of Santiago and the Institute of Foreign Trade and Business Innovation. The meetings will be attended by the Industrial Association of the Northern Region (Airen), ProMéxico, Comce from Mexico, the Dominican Chamber of Commerce and the Center for Export and Investment.
From May 7th to 9th in Santo Domingo, in the Dominican Republic, local producers and exporters will be meeting with companies and international buyers to explore business opportunities.

Guatemala is to host the international event Travel Mart Latin America, which will be held in September 2015.
Competing with Ecuador and Brazil, Guatemala won the position for 2015, becoming the next meeting point for travel service providers from Central and South America and buyers from around the world. It Is expected that the contract will be signed with the organizers in June.
International bureaucrats are touring Central America offering up the ALADI as a means of doing business with South American countries, while the president of Argentina is preventing firms in her country from using ports in Uruguay.

FIES 2010 is an International exhibition of various economic and social developments, focusing on conservation and environmental recovery.

The Ecuadoran Minister of Foreign Affairs announce that they will participate in the First Ecuador-El Salvador-Guatemala Business Mission and Business Roundtable .
The meeting came about as a result of an initiative by the Ecuadoran Foreign Ministry, during a video conference between Ecuadoran and Salvadoran business people last March 4 which aroused the interest of members of the the Chamber of Industries in the Andean city of Cuenca, the Ministry indicated in a press release.
