After four years of stagnation and with the works only 25% complete, the construction of the Manuel Amador Guerrero Hospital in the province of Colon has been reactivated.
From a statement issued by the Presidency of the Republic of Panama:
The Ministry of Works received bids for the canalization of the Gallinaza river and the construction of buildings in the Allbrook area.
A single bid was submitted for the La Gallinaza project, and was made by A & J Associates, Inc., for $ 6.39 million.
Three companies submitted proposals for the design, preparation of construction drawings, specifications, construction and renovation of buildings No. 1018 and 811, located in the Allbrook area, including: Construction ARCO S.A., with a price of $ 9.76 million, RM Engineering Inc., with $ 10.16 million and Constructora Meco S.A., for $ 10.32 million. The estimated price by the authorities was $ 9.5 million.
