Entrepreneurs in the sector say that several companies have stopped taking part in tenders to provide advertising services to the Ministry of Tourism, and denounced a lack of transparency.
"Biased and manipulated without transparency" are how private agencies describe the tenders run by the Ministry of Tourism to hire advertising services, according to complaints received by the guild.

The Tourism Authority has announced that it will focus its efforts on international tourism promotion, when preparing the tender specifications for the development of an advertising campaign.
