Price of imports 
During the months between January 2016 and March 2018 the average price per kilo of imports in Central America showed an upward trend, growing from $ 4.72 to $ 7.30 per kilo, which is equivalent to a growth of 55%.

Origin of imports 
From January to March of this year, 70% of the value imported in Central America came from Chile, 18% from Brazil and 7% from Mexico.

Variation of regional imports 
Between the first quarter of 2017 and the same period of 2018, the value imported from copper wire in Central America registered a growth of 38%, rising from $ 20 million to $ 28 million.

Import by country
