Construction: Upcoming Works in Central America

Works on aqueducts in Panama City, an office building in Costa Rica and the construction of a highway in Guatemala are some of the projects planned for the coming months in the region.

Details of some of the recently submitted Environmental Impact Studies:

The National Council for Sustainable Development submitted an EIA for design and construction of works for the sustainable improvement of Panama City's potable water system, which includes expansion and renovation of the Panama Norte aqueduct. The document details that the work is estimated at $88.2 million.

In Costa Rica, Everty Campus Nova Limitada submitted an EIA to build, in the district of Mercedes, province of San José, a twelve-story office building, which will be composed of four basements and eight upper floors. According to the study, the project is called Everty Dent and a global investment of $23 million is foreseen.

In Guatemala, the General Directorate of Roads submitted an EIA to carry out works to improve the El Molino - San Cristobal Frontera stretch of road and construct an additional lane on the stretch El Molino - Aldea Llano Grande. The document details that $22.6 million will be invested in this project.
