Laprensa.com.ni reports, "Resident Director of the Swiss Cooperation Agency in Central America (SDC), Peter Bischof, was confident that this second phase will achieve results similar to the initial stage of the project, which saw 45 companies and technology services attend to 22 thousand producers, bringing them affordable technology. Mexico to Sell More Electricity to Guatemala

El Salvador and Russia sign Cooperation Agreements

Brazilian Agricultural Investigation Company (EMBRAPA) opens office in Honduras

A commission from EMBRAPA arrived on Sunday in Honduras to fine tune details for the installation of a regional office for Central America and the Caribbean.

Besides the setting up of the a regional office, they are looking to provide follow up to agreements signed by the presidents of Central America and Brazilian president, Lula Da Silva, last year in El Salvador.

Isthmus seeks agricultural agreement with Brazil

Agriculture Ministers from Central America met yesterday in the Panamanian capital to analyze a possible agreement of cooperation in agriculture with Brazil.

Brazilian officials from the the Ministry of Agricultural Development, the National Supply Company and the Brazilian Company of Agricultural Investigation present the plan for cooperation with Brazil.
