XXI Latin American Ports Congress In April

Guatemala has been designated the host of the 2012 event, which will take place from 9th to 12th April in Antigua Guatemala.

The National Port Commission of Guatemala as host organization, is honored by the designation of Guatemala as host of the XXI Latin American Congress of Ports, an event organized annually by the American Association of Port Authorities (AAPA).

The congress will take place in Antigua Guatemala between 9th and 12th April.

In an official statement, the American Association of Port Authorities (AAPA) explains the purpose of the event: “In order to promote continuous improvement of international trade by sea, the event represents an appropriate space for dialogue, update, and trade between port authorities and service providers on issues related to the activities of the sector in the Americas and the rest of the world.”
