Works Begin at Panamanian Electoral Tribunal

The construction of a new headquarters, at a cost of $ 29.8 million, marks the beginning of the project known as "Cuidad Gubernamental" (Government City).

TE's new headquarters will be built in an area of 3.2 hectares, given by the Ministry of Economy and Finance, and will be located in the former Motor Pool of the Panama Canal Authority (ACP), facing Omar Torrijos Herrera Avenue , Ancon District.

The building will have a 3 level facade and is modeled to the likes of the ACP building.

The work, expected to be ready in less than 22 months, will have large parking lots, efficient departmental interaction, easy to read signs and amenities for the 1160 employees who will occupy the facilities.

$2 million Architecture Tender

The Electoral Tribunal of Panama is putting out to tender the development of plans and works in the Cristóbal Colón Building in Ciudad de Colón, for use by the Regional Office of the Electoral Tribunal.

"Supply of all labor, materials, tools, machinery, equipment, transportation, supplies, and everything needed to carry out the work for development of plans and restoration of the Cristóbal Colón building in Ciudad de Colón, for use by the regional headquarters of the Electoral Tribunal in the province of Colon. "

Panama: 19 Companies Interested in Electoral Court Seat

April 2010

19 companies participated in a preliminary meeting for the construction of the new seat of the Electoral Court.

On May 12, the Court will formally invite bids for this project, estimated at $20 million.

In this preliminary meeting, participating companies stated their recommendations and concerns about the project.
