Where are the consumers who spend the most?

On average, consumers who belong to 30% of the group of people with the highest consumption capacity in the Metropolitan Area of San Salvador travel through the streets of Antiguo Cuscatlán, and 4 out of 10 are between 21 and 30 years old.

An analysis of the floating population in El Salvador, elaborated by the Trade Intelligence Unit of CentralAmericaData, gives interesting results on the characteristics of the people who every day move from place to place on the streets of the Metropolitan Area of the capital of San Salvador.

The municipality of Antiguo Cuscatlán, is the one that concentrates in the metropolitan area the traffic of people with the highest capacity of consumption, since the population that is mobilized by the streets of the sector belongs in average to 30% of the population with greater availability of income.

When it is analyzed in greater detail, it is confirmed that in some specific sectors of Antiguo Cuscatlán is concentrated the transit of the population that on average belongs to the 5% of people with the highest consumption capacity.

Santa Tecla is another area that also records the transit of population with high availability of income, because in some sectors are circulating on average people belonging to the 22% with the highest level of consumption.

Data show that of the total population that moves daily through the streets of Santa Tecla, 4 out of 10 are people between 31 and 45 years old.
