The interactive information system "Construction Projects in Guatemala", complied by the Business Intelligence Unit at CentralAmericaData, includes a list of construction projects for which Environmental Impact Studies (EIA) were submitted to the Ministry of the Environment and Natural resources in February 2017.

Latin Proyect and Business Consulting, S.A. submitted an EIA to build a tower with 11 levels and 8 basements for residential, commercial and office use in zone 13 of Guatemala City. The project is called "Narama" and according to the study the total investment amount is estimated at $37 million.

Networks Eléctricas de Centroamérica, S.A. submitted two EIAs to build an electrical substation in the municipality of Jutiapa and another in the municipality of Patzicía, department of Chimaltenango. According to the documentation the first study is called "Subestación Jutiapa 138 / 13.8 Kb 10 a 14 Mva", and has an estimated investment of $14.6 million, and the second is called "Subestación Patzicía 69/34.5 Kv, 10 a 14 Mva", whose value is estimated at $14.3 million.

Instituto Técnico de Capacitación y Productividad submitted an EIA to build a training center in Villa Nueva Zone 4, in the department of Guatemala. The project is called "Construcción Centro de Capacitación Villa Nueva" and according to the study the investment is estimated at $12 million.
