The figures show that the predominant brands in motor vehicles are Toyota and Mazda, which together represent about 38% of the total registered units.

Top 5 brands of light duty vehicles
According to the data, the five brands that represent about 85% of the total number of vehicles used to transport light cargo correspond to the brands Toyota, Nissan, Isuzu, Ford and Mazda.

Major brands of heavy-duty vehicles
At the end of last year, the leading brands in the Guatemalan market were Freightliner, Hino, International Isuzu and Ford, representing about 49% of the total number of units circulating.
