Walmart Launches Customer Services Center in Honduras

The center will serve the company's customers in its 527 points of sale throughout Mexico and Central America.

Walmart's new Customer Services Center (CSC) will be equipped with a technology platform to answer queries and receive comments and suggestions. It will be open seven days a week from 7am to 10pm.

"The CSC features a team of 40 people at a regional level with local coordinators in each of the countries served who will be responsible for ensuring customers' problems are followed up until they are resolved," reports La Tribuna.

Wal-Mart Plans 300 Stores in Central America and Mexico

Scot Rank, CEO of Wal-Mart Mexico, explained they have detected 300 cities in Mexico and Central America where they don’t have stores but plan to expand to.

Rank also valued Central America’s retail market at $44 billion, and Mexico’s at $197 billion.
