Wal-Mart continues round of negotiations

Wal-Mart Central America invited Small and Medium producers of consumer articles to the Rounds of Negotiation for the "A Hand to Grow" program.

The Round of Negotiation is a one day event in which appointments for negotiations between the producer and the Category Manager (buyer) for Wal-Mart Central America. The products that are accepted will be offered in designated pilot stores for a testing period of 90 days.
During this period, the product will be displayed at a special supermarket gondola or display shelf so that it will stand out to customers who can benefit from its purchase. If the product is successful in its category, it will be incorporated into the regular selection of the store.

The regional coordinator of the program explained that in order to participate, companies must have innovative and attractive products which comply with international quality standards and national sanitary rules.
