Via Tertia Invests $59 Million in Building Projects

The economic crisis led the Spanish company to expand its real estate projects in Panama, where it will build two residential projects.

One project will be done in Nuevo Arraiján and it will have 600 housing units. In the other one, in La Chorrera, the real estate developer Via Tertia will construct 950 homes.

According to the website Americaeconomica.com, Higinio Javier Escaso, director of Via Tertia in Panama, said that "ground breaking will begin this week and delivery of the first homes is expected in the coming months of November and December."

The housing shortage experienced by the province of Chiriqui may slowly disappear, if the rapid pace of construction continues.

In just five months, residential and commercial buildings costing $13.8 million have been developed, and it is projected that the figure could exceed $49 million by the end of the year.

Inversiones Bolívar projects comprise 469 blocks. Diego de Sola, CEO, announced that while the projects haven't started yet, everything is planned and en route.
