Vertical Housing: New Investment in Costa Rica

Construction began on the second building of the Torres Los Yoses residential complex, the new building will have 19 levels, will house 119 apartments and will require a total investment of approximately $18 million.

According to information provided by Grupo Inmobiliario Del Parque, developer of the project, which is located at the entrance of Los Yoses neighborhood in the country's capital, the new tower, whose groundbreaking ceremony was held on February 19, 2021, will have about 16,500 square meters of construction and the building works are expected to be completed in January 2022.

The building will have amenities such as coworking areas, swimming pool, lounge, gym, meeting rooms, green areas, cinema and common laundry, according to the companies in charge of the project, the prices of the apartments in the new tower will range between $79 thousand and $180 thousand.

Offering a strategic location, the company expects to sell the apartments quickly. According to Nacion.com, José Luis Salinas, president of Grupo Inmobiliario del Parque, the condominium is in a good location "... because it is close to the second avenue, universities, banks, supermarkets, hospitals and pharmacies. It is also close to the gastronomic area of the Escalante neighborhood."

The article adds that "... the company assured that it already has more than 58% of the condominiums sold."

In August 2016, CentralAmericaData reported that Torre Los Yoses F P S O S.A. had submitted the EIA to build in the Carmen district, San José province, two apartment towers with stores, the first tower will be of 25 levels with 155 apartments and the second will be of 20 levels with 148 apartments. According to the documents, $22,864,850 will be invested in the project called "Torre Los Yoses".
