Vertical Housing: More Investments in Guatemala

In Zone 10 of the capital of the country, a 14-story tower is planned to be built, which will house 50 apartments, will have five basements and will require an investment of approximately $6 million.

According to the interactive platform "Construction in Central America" of CentralAmericaData's Business Intelligence area, Torre Diez S.A., submitted to the Ministry of Environment the Environmental Impact Study (EIA) to develop the project called "Edificio Bonadiez".

This project will proceed with the readjustment of the area for the formation of five basements, contemplating 17,500 cubic meters of earthworks.

The project includes the construction of a building with 50 two-bedroom apartments, each with minisplit air conditioning in each room, a water heater for each apartment's hot water system, and an independent entrance to a private room, providing the opportunity to share the social areas of each housing unit.

According to the EIA, about $5.8 million will be invested in this project.

CentralAmericaData has information on construction projects planned in all Central American countries, with details such as estimated investment, project timing and phases, supplies and equipment that will be required during and after construction, water treatment, parking structure, among others.

New Residential Tower Project in Guatemala

March 2019

In the next few months, a residential building will be built in Zone 12 of the country's capital, with 4 basements for parking and 115 apartments distributed in 12 levels.

Inmuebles Eficientes, S.A. presented the Environmental Impact Study (EIA) to develop the project called "Torre Pamplona 14 Calle", which will be built on a plot of land with an area of two thousand square meters.


Guatemala: $55 million in Residential Projects

In August 2017, three construction projects were processed, comprising seven towers with 547 apartments, all to be developed in Guatemala City.
