Vehicles in Panama: Sales up to 1st Quarter 2019

As a result of the downward trend reported in recent years, between January and March this year 11,292 vehicles were registered in the country, 11% less than in the same period in 2018.

The most recent data from the General Comptroller of the Republic detail that between the first quarter of 2018 and the same period of 2019, the number of units registered in the country fell from 12,618 to 11,292.

During the first three months of 2019, sales of SUV's reported a 6% decrease over the first quarter of 2018, dropping from 4,362 to 4,094 units, and Pick Ups sales recorded an 8% decrease, dropping from 1,913 to 1,763 units.

Trucks also recorded a decrease for the months concerned from 389 to 268 units, a decrease of 31%.
