During May and June in most markets of the region the interest of consumers in vehicle maintenance services has rebounded, and currently it is estimated that in Central America about 250 thousand people are looking to hire services associated with the subject through the Internet.

Through a system developed by CentralAmericaData, which monitors in real time changes in the number of consumers trying to purchase a specific product or service in Central American countries, their interests and preferences, it is possible to project short and long term demand trends for different products, sectors and markets operating in the region.

The data shows that of the total number of people in Central America who are trying to hire a vehicle repair or maintenance service, 28% are looking for an oil change and 25% for a brake service or repair.

When analyzing the trends of the markets of the region, the interactive system details that in Panama the interactions associated with the repair of vehicles rebounded as of May 3 and the upward trend was maintained in the first weeks of June.

In the Costa Rican market, interest in automotive maintenance services began to grow as of May 10, in Guatemala as of April 5, and in El Salvador as of May 17.

In the case of the Honduran market, the interactions associated with the issue decreased, a trend that began to be reported as of May 10 and the negative variations continued until the first weeks of June.

This tool for monitoring the interests of consumers in any country in the region allows companies to project demand trends and anticipate the changes that will occur in the various sectors and categories of products and services.
