Urbanization Project for $10 Million

On a 360-hectare property in the district of Chirú, in the province of Coclé, the project plans to begin building the basic infrastructure for the subsequent development of a tourism project.

According to the interactive information system "Construction in Central America" by CentralAmericaData, Desarrollo Turístico Solmar, S.A. presented the Environmental Impact Study to the Panamanian authorities of the project called "Development of Basic Infrastructure for Solmar Tourism Project."

The document details that the project consists of the segregation of 59 macro lots, which will be distributed in 33 lots for residential and hotel use, 2 services, 19 for a golf course and 5 for amenities.

The construction of the necessary basic infrastructure is contemplated, that includes avenues, roads, green areas, networks of the basic services of electrical energy, communications, potable water, pluvial sewerage, sanitary sewerage and systems of treatment of used water.

In addition, adaptations will be made to the existing body of water within the polygon to be developed. The projected investment is approximately $10.000.000.
