Tuesday, June 17, 2008

It's the second airline in less than a week to announce the suspension of flights to Guatemala. United had been flying to Guatemala for 17 years and the other airline, Interjet, had been flying there for just six months.
Jesús Noguez, sales manager for Central America and the Caribbean for United Airlines, said the flights between Guatemala City and Los Angeles would end on Sept. 2.
Guatemalans can still fly to the United States on Taca Airlines and Delta.
