Trade between Turkey and Costa Rica

Representatives of the Costa Rican Chamber of Trade and the Foreign Economic Relations Board in Turkey are seeking to open a space in order to generate business between the two countries.

From a statement issued by the Chamber of Commerce of Costa Rica:

The Chamber of Commerce of Costa Rica and the Turkish Embassy in the country will receive on Tuesday, January 26, 2016, a Turkish business delegation that arrived in the country on behalf of the Foreign Economic Relations Board of Turkey (DEIK) and which includes members of the Business Council of Turkey - Central America and the Caribbean of that institution as well as important representatives from the Turkish business sector.

The Foreign Economic Relations Board of Turkey (DEIK), manages various activities under its mandate which are related to the impact of Turkey's economic and political developments at the regional and global levels, in close cooperation with the public and private sector and civil society .

An agreement between business associations aims to improve the exchange of trade and investment between the two countries.

From a statement issued by the Association of Industrialists in Puerto Rico (AIPR):

The Association of Industrialists of Puerto Rico (AIPR) and the Costa Rica-Puerto Rico Chamber of Commerce (CCCR-PR) have established a mutual cooperation agreement with the aim of promoting trade, investment, trade and other cooperation economic benefits for their respective members and economic development in both countries, said Carlos Rivera Velez, president of the AIPR.

Russian Trade Office in El Salvador Announced

October 2014

The Foreign Ministry has announced that it has given approval for the establishment of the office, whose opening is scheduled for October.

Two years after El Salvador set up an embassy in Russia, the authorities in this country are preparing to open an office in San Salvador, for which they "... already have a person to lead it."
