It is an opportunity to present an interesting tourist supply and we have 12 properties in Quintana Roo, where we decided to introduce Guatemala, because of its proximity. From Cancun, which is in the northern area, to the Great Mayan Coast."

On the other hand, Jorge Mario Chajon, director of Inguat, declared that "... Mexico is seeking to attract tourism to Guatemala, which is not unusual, with more than 70% of any country's tourism coming from its neighbors."
