Tocumen Parking and Power Plant Tender

The construction of a parking lot in front of the new building and the installation of a new power plant are some of the $30 million worth of tenders planned for the next three months.

The manager of the airport, Joseph Fidanque III, told Prensa.com that "... The works are related to a process of improvement of the current terminal, as well as systems that will be needed to inaugurate the new terminal, which should be operational in the first quarter of 2018."

It is estimated that the tenders to be announced in the next three months will together be worth $30 million.

He explained that "... tenders will be launched for the construction of a new parking space in front of the new building and a new power plant will improve the flow of energy used by the terminal."
