The interactive platform "Construction in Central America" compiled by the Business Intelligence Unit at CentralAmericaData provides an up to date list of public and private constructionprojects for which EIA's were submitted to the respective institutions of each country in April 2017.
Details of some projects:
In Costa Rica 3-101638173 S.A. presented an EIA to build a building for commercial and office use in the district of San Rafael Escazú, San José province.The project is called "Oficentro GTU" and according to the document a global investment is foreseen of $34 million.
In Panama, Hydroelectric Macano II, S.A. presented an EIA to build and operate, in Río Piedra, Chiriquí province, a hydroelectric plant with an installed capacity of 4.15 MW generating 18,265 GWatts per year.The project is called "Construction and Exploitation of a Hydroelectric Power Plant called RP-550" and according to the study an approximate investment will made of $15.5 million.
In GuatemalaSika Guatemala, S.A. submitted an EIA to build a plant to manufacture finished products in line of mortars, additives and acrylics, in the municipality of Palín, Escuintla department.The project is called "Planta Palin" and according to the document the investment amount is expected to be around $10 million.
