Tender for the Construction of Parking and Office Tower

In Honduras, the Judicial Branch tenders the construction of a parking tower, general services and food areas of the institution in Tegucigalpa.

Honduras Government Purchase LPN 12-2019:

"The Parking Tower was designed as a spiral, where the same slabs serve as ramps for ascending and descending the vehicles, parking the vehicles in the same slabs. The construction will be wrapped in a metallic membrane or parasol (Louver) in the form of a honeycomb, which serves to give a modern twist to the mentioned building. The building will have 321 parking spaces distributed in 4 levels, access steps at all levels, green area (gardening), signposting at each level, properly painted kerbs and vehicle stops.

Inside the Tower there will be in its lower part or first level the area of offices of General Services and Workshops, where are included the department, assistants, secretary, chief of fleet, chief of transport, area of motorists, chief of maintenance, delivery office, area of Printing and photocopying, kitchen, area for staff of cleanliness, common bathrooms, warehouses of equipment, spare parts, props, besides the workshops of electricity, welding, carpentry, refrigeration and the auxiliaries of maintenance. The offices will have air conditioning, the workshops will have wide accessibility and the kitchen will have its common dining room for employees.

The last part of this project is the Food Area, removing the current booths and leaving them all in a single Food Court space, with common dining areas and five coffee shops. It will have air conditioning for a greater comfort of the users, all this in the second level of this building. In the first level there will be common tables and the space is open, without walls, with gardening and pleasant environments."

The Judicial Power of Honduras is putting out to tender construction of a parking tower with capacity for 365 vehicles, the offices of the General Services Department and a food court.

Honduras Government Purchase 12-2017:

"Requirements are for the construction of a parking tower in a spiral shape, where the same slabs serve as ramps for vehicles to travel up and down, parking on the same slabs, eliminating the need for ramps that are dead spaces that subtract from the available useful area. The construction will be wrapped in a metal membrane or parasol (Louver) in the shape of a honeycomb, which will provide a touch of modernity to the aforementioned building. The building will have 365 parking spaces distributed on 4 levels, access steps to all levels, green area (gardening), signage on each level, properly painted curbs and vehicle stops.  

Panama: New Rules on Parking

November 2015

Changes have been made to parking requirements for the buildings to be built in the districts of Panama and San Miguelito and depend on their usage or activity.

In Resolution No. 684-2015 of the Ministry of Housing and Land Management published in La Gaceta, it states that in the sector of tourist accommodation, for example, one or two star hotels, should have a parking space for every three rooms, one space for administration and two spaces for loading and unloading areas.
