Tender for Road Works in Costa Rica

The National Road Council is inviting tenders for the conservation work of the road infrastructure of the national paved network, with surface protection layers.

Costa Rican Government Purchase 2020LN-000004-0006000001:

"The contracting object of this procedure is to carry out the conservation works of the road infrastructure of the National Paved Road Network with "surface protection layers", in accordance with the characteristics and conditions indicated in the requirements document, based on ethics and correct engineering practices.

The cost of the project (preliminary budget for the determination of the type of procedure) is estimated in the sum of ₡597.340.081.808,60 (five hundred and ninety-seven thousand three hundred and forty million eighty-one thousand eight hundred and eight colons and sixty cents) for the whole of the lines, for the whole period of the contracting.

Deadline for the reception of offers: October 29, 2020.

$143 Million Investment in Roads Announced

Thirteen construction companies have submitted their proposals for repair and construction works in the "Circunvalación" highway, in the capital of Costa Rica.

The companies that submitted proposals to Consejo Nacional de Vialidad (Conavi) are: Ascamón y Tapusa, Sánchez Carvajal, PuentePrefa, Internego, Hernán Solís, MECO, Grupo JCB, Codocsa, Cimolai, Marlin Bridges, Edica, Crecex and Gepesa.

$9 Million for Highway Maintenance

January 2010

Panama's transportation ministry invited bids for rehabilitation works at highway José Agustín Arango.

The bidding rules were published in PanamáCompra, and establish that bids must be submitted before March 2.

Works include removing road surface, installing drainage pipelines and installing cement layers, plus building a pedestrian bridge.
