Tender for Office Maintenance Works

The Ministry of Public Security of Costa Rica tenders corrective maintenance for delegations and administrative offices.

Costa Rican Government Purchase 2020LN-000004-0007100001:

"The Ministry has buildings nationwide, of which there are buildings that have already completed their useful life and therefore require immediate attention for the damage they present. There are also buildings that have some of the systems with architectural, mechanical, structural, and electromechanical damage; taking into account that Health Orders from the Ministry of Health fall on some of these infrastructures, which require immediate attention.

The tender seeks to hire a company to carry out corrective maintenance work according to the needs of each building, in order to leave it in proper working order."

Reference value: $4,261,545.

Deadline for receipt of bids: September 8, 2020.

The Ministry of Government of Panama is putting out to tender the integral maintenance of "La Nueva Joya" prison, located in Panama City.

Panama Government Purchase 2016-0-04-0-08-LV-008 105:

Costa Rica: State Building Remodeling for $46 million

October 2013

Authorities announced works to reinforce the structure of the Social Security Department building and the modernization of its mechanical and electrical systems.

The Disability, Old Age and Death regime ('Invalidez, Vejez y Muerte' or IVM in Spanish) will be the entity financing the refurbishment of the Laureano Echandi building, which houses the current headquarters of the Social Security Department (CCSS by its initials in Spanish). The IVM is the owner of that infrastructure.

Panama Tenders Restoration Works for $10 million

December 2011

In the first two months of 2012, the Directorate of Heritage will put out to tender restoration works on the Metropolitan Cathedral.

Sandra Cerrud director of the institution indicated that the plans have been approved. The works, which could be finished by 2013, include the complete restoration of the Cathedral and other nearby structures.

$30 Million for Renovating Panamanian Neighborhoods

February 2010

The Government will invest in renovating three neighborhoods in Panama City: El Chorillo, Santa Ana and San Felipe.

In 1997, San Felipe was declared as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.

“Mivi, the Housing Ministry is currently identifying which houses need to be demolished, and which lots will be enabled for 2011, when renovation works begin … the new buildings cannot be taller than three stories”, reported La Prensa.
