In El Salvador, Internet link services for public schools are tendered, with a minimum bandwidth of 5 Mbps.

El Salvador Government Purchase DR CAFTA LA 30/2019 ME G:

"881 schools must be covered, with a minimum bandwidth of 5 Mbps. The contractor must ensure that the link is installed and functioning, providing all necessary communication equipment and accessories, including power cables, patch cords, external sources, among others.

The communication equipment provided by the contractor must have a bullet with the necessary data to report faults, which includes, but is not limited to telephone numbers, e-mail address, identification code, and any other data required by MINED staff to report faults.

The supplier must include in its monthly price any cost for the installation of materials, equipment and labor for the connection of the service in each benefited educational center, since it will not be able to include any additional cost during the execution of the Project."

Deadline for receipt of tenders: March 4, 2019.
