Tender for Industrial Building Construction

The Center for Industrial Development and Competitiveness of the Dominican Republic has invited bids for the construction of three industrial buildings of 1,800 square meters each.

Dominican Republic Government purchase PROINDUSTRIA-CCC-CP-2020-0002:

"The works will be contracted for the construction of three industrial warehouses of 1,800 square meters each, in the lands of the expansion of the Free Zone Park of San Pedro de Macoris (2nd stage).

The Selection Procedure will be done by means of Price Comparison in Multiple Stages.

The Contracting Entity will proceed to make a first payment corresponding to the Advance Payment, which will be a maximum of twenty percent (20%) of the Contract value. The remaining amount shall be paid in partial payments to the Contractor, by means of monthly payments for works carried out and certified by the Supervision."

Deadline for receipt of bids: June 26, 2020.

Industry: Real Estate Construction is up 3%

From January to June of this year, the constructed area of warehouses and other industrial properties in Costa Rica increased by 58,273 square meters compared to the same period in 2019, which is equivalent to an annual increase of 3%.

Beverages: Production Plant Starts Operations

In Costa Rica, the Coca-Cola company announced that it had completed the construction of its new raw material production plant in Liberia, and it has now begun operating in its first phase.

At the beginning of March 2018, it was announced that the production plant would be built on land located in the Solarium Free Zone in Guanacaste, and it was also detailed that it would take 18 months to build it, so the industrial building would be ready at the beginning of January 2020.

Beverage Manufacturing Plant for $84 million

September 2015

An environmental impact study has been submitted for the construction of a beverage production and distribution plant measuring 144 thousand square meters in Western Panama.

The Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) submitted to the National Authority of the Environment in July 2015 by the company Pacific Brewery SA, indicates that the aim is to complete construction of the plant in 12 months, and that they plant will consist of 70,366 of open construction and 74,317 cubic meters of enclosed areas.
