Tender for Electrical Equipment in Costa Rica

The Instituto Costarricense de Electricidad is putting out to tender laboratory equipment for Energy Efficiency.

The Instituto Costarricense de Electricidad has received a loan from the Inter-American Development Bank to finance the cost of the Electrical Development Program 2008 - 2011 and intends to apply part of the proceeds of this financing to make payments under the Contract for Acquisition of Laboratory Equipment for Energy Efficiency.The tender also includes the installation and commissioning of the same.

Among the equipment to be tendered is:

Equipment for measurements of photovoltaic modules and solar collectors
Room for measuring electric water heaters for residential use.
Room for efficiency tests applied to domestic refrigerators.

The deadline for submission of bids is January 5th, 2014.

A coffee laboratory for Nicaragua

August 2015

It has been announced that the terms of reference are being prepared for a tender to build a coffee analysis laboratory.

Although a specific location has not yet been defined, Jose Angel Buitrago, president of the Coffee Exporters Association of Nicaragua (excan), told Laprensa.com.ni that it will most likely be built in Sébaco, Matagalpa.

International Tender: Customs Laboratory Equipment

The Executive Directorate of Revenue in Honduras is putting out to tender a supply of equipment for a customs laboratory in the Customs Office of Puerto Cortés.

From a statement issued by the Executive Revenue Department:

The Government of the Republic of Honduras has received a loan from the IDB to partially finance the cost of the Project for the Modernization of Customs Offices at Puerto Cortés, 2467 IDB loan BL-HO and intends to apply part of the proceeds of this loan to payments under the contract "Acquisition of Equipment for Customs Laboratory at the Customs Office of Puerto Cortés".

Purchase of Laboratory Equipment for $2.4 million

November 2013

The University of Costa Rica is putting out to tender the purchase of laboratory equipment for its Alajuela Interuniversity site.

Government Purchase Costa Rica 2013CD-000040-VE:

"LABORATORY EQUIPMENT PURCHASE FOR INTER-UNIVERSITY SITE IN HEREDIA."

The deadline for submission of bids is November 20, 2013.

Panama Invites Tenders for $3.1 Million Worth of Lab Equipment

The contract is for the supply of electronic equipment, furniture, training and set up of 12 laboratories.

The 12 labs are for ten training centers being set up by Panama's Professional Human Resources Training and Development Institute (INADEH in Spanish).

Technical specifications: the electronic lab equipment should be able to cope with up to 24 participants. Each workstation must be able to be used by two people.
