Tender for Data Center Equipment

In Guatemala, Empresa Portuaria Quetzal is tendering the equipment, interconnection works and improvements to the conditions of the primary and secondary data center.

Guatemala Government Purchase 10626492:

"The aim of this process is to achieve the acquisition of equipment and specialized systems of the latest technology for the equipment, interconnection and improvement of the primary and secondary data center of the Computer Unit of the EPQ, and thus comply with the management systems, and provide more agility, security in the operations of Port Company Quetzal, ensuring the safeguarding and accuracy of information resulting from the activities carried out by the different units, dependencies and staff working in EPQ.

The Offeror shall carry out the necessary studies to establish the connectivity of the electrical network, data network and fiber optic network, protection of the equipment that allows the optimal functioning of the Main Data Center and Replication Data Center, for which purpose it may consult the designated personnel of Empresa Portuaria Quetzal during the technical visit.

The Offeror shall provide preventive and corrective maintenance of all installed equipment, including the electrical and communication system during the contractual term of the offered support. If necessary, the equipment that cannot be repaired must be replaced."

Deadline for receipt of bids: August 28, 2019.
