Tender for Communication System Rental

The Autonomous Executive Port Commission of El Salvador tenders the lease service of a digital radio communication system for the Port of Acajutla, for 2020.

El Salvador Government Purchase LP-04/2020:

"The Digital Communication System shall comply with the following aspects:

a) Permanent and interference-free communication
b) Clear, noiseless audio quality
(c) Maintain communication through the marine channel
d) Privacy in communications. (Encrypted communication signals)
e) Radios and transmission equipment to work in conditions prone to dust, water and saline environment 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
f) Ergonomics (Equipment and accessories that can be adapted to the working conditions of the Port)
h) Optimal coverage of the international communication signal to Puerto Quetzal, Guatemala (More than 60 nautical miles)
i) Growth capacity in simultaneously connected users.
j) Storage capacity of all communications.
k) All the groups of the digital radio communication system in operation in Acajutla must have the capacity to communicate via roaming in two ways, between the metropolitan area of San Salvador and Acajutla; likewise, they must be integrated to this system with the equipment of the companies of CEPA."

Deadline for receipt of tenders: November 15, 2019.

Instituto Nacional de Electrificación de Guatemala is putting out to tender data communications links via satellite and fiber optics from the central offices to the interior of the country.

Guatemala Government Purchase 7139586:

"The communication for the service of communications links via satellite for the transmission and reception of data and internet services in the central offices to the interior of the country, must be independent and must form part of the network of the INDE, by means of a Virtual Private Network (VPN).
