Tender for Airport Remodeling

The Autonomous Executive Port Commission of El Salvador tenders the remodeling of the access facilities at Oscar Romero Airport.

The purpose of the public tender is to contract the services of remodeling of the facilities of access 6 of the International Airport of El Salvador, San Oscar Arnulfo Romero and Galdámez, according to everything required in the Technical specifications, plans, etc., by means of a Natural Person, Legal, Union of Persons, and/or Joint Participation of Suppliers (Legalized), National or Foreign.

The consultations of the tender will be received until December 10 and the opening of bids will take place on December 20, 2019.

" CONSTRUCTION AND EXPANSION OF PERIPHERAL WAREHOUSE AND WAREHOUSE FOR MATERIALS FOR THE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT EL SALVADOR - Hiring a Natural Person , Legal , and / or Bidders Union , national or foreign, to execute the works which includes among other things activities ranging from site preparation, demolition , dismantling , reinstallation , reinforced concrete structures, construction of walls, roof structure and cover, fibre-cement modular false ceiling, floor, sidewalk, doors, electrical installations such as pipelines, electrical panel installation, switches, sockets and lights . "

Tender For Works at El Salvador International Airport

As of yesterday a tender was launched for the repair of the airport in Comalapa's runway, a project that will consume, along with another nine, 65% of the $58.3 million raised in a recent securitization.

The Autonomous Executive Port Commission (CEPA by its initials in Spanish) said the project also includes the rehabilitation of 240,000 square meters of road surfacing taxiways (alternative routes to the main runway), as well as other areas of the airport.

Loans for Infrastructure in El Salvador

October 2012

The CABEI has approved loans for infrastructure work in ports and airports, and construction of prisons amounting to $92 million and $71 million respectively.

A statement from the Central American Bank for Economic Integration (CABEI) reads:

The Central American Bank for Economic Integration (CABEI) has approved funding for the Autonomous Executive Port Commission (CEPA in Spanish) of the Republic of El Salvador for an amount of up to U.S. $92 million to partially finance the "Program for Development and Sustainability of Air and Sea Ports ".

Comalapa Airport Expansion Prolonged

May 2012

The Autonomous Executive Port Commission will update the project from its conceptual phase, estimating that it will become concrete under the next government.

The expansion of the El Salvador International Airport in Comalapa will not take place during the period of this government, which has two years left in office, admitted the President of the Autonomous Executive Port Commission (CEPA), Alberto Arene.
