Tender for $29 Million in Spare Parts for Buses

Transporte Masivo de Panama S.A. tenders the supply of original spare parts and tools for Volvo chassis for Gran Viale B7R and Torino B290R buses that make up the company's fleet.

Panama Government Purchase 2021-2-81-01-08-LP-003129:

"The Contractor shall maintain proper inventory levels in all warehouse facilities and possess the specialized tools that facilitate the work of technicians in order to perform preventive and corrective maintenance in each of the six (6) workshops that make up each Operation and Execution Center (COE) of Transporte Masivo Panama, S.A., for a period of thirty-six (36) months counted from the notification of the order to proceed issued once the respective contract has been countersigned.

The purpose of this tender is to receive, in its entirety, all the original spare parts of chassis and specialized tools (requested by means of a purchase order) by sea in containerized and duly packed cargo, in a term no longer than ninety (90) calendar days (counted from the following calendar day after the notification of the purchase order).

The institution wishes to have a six (6) month supply availability of inventory within the national territory of the spare parts that TMPSA consumes most frequently according to the preventive and corrective maintenance plans.

It must be guaranteed that all original Volvo spare parts requested, whether by air or sea, must come in their respective cardboard boxes and/or individual plastic wrapping (when applicable), correctly packed and/or placed inside collapsible boxes made of recycled wood (or new wood) or plastic boxes or cardboard boxes, duly reinforced with wood and aluminum profiles (angles). Genuine Volvo parts that are loose inside the container or within the air shipment will not be accepted".
