Government Purchase El Salvador LPI-01/2017:
"The aim is to renovate the works of capture, potabilization and electromechanics at the water treatment plant Las Pavas, in the municipality of San Pablo Tacachico, department of La Libertad.
Bidders must submit copies of contracts that demonstrate experience in the design and construction of potable water treatment plants, including hydraulic, mechanical, electrical, and electromechanical works undertaken over the last 10 years."
The deadline for receipt of bids is November 17, 2017.
Congress has approved a loan from the French government to finance the construction of the water treatment plant in Las Pavas.
From a statement issued by the Legislative Assembly of El Salvador:
With the aim of finalising the funding for the "Project for the Renovation of a Drinking Water Treatment Plant in Pavas and Network adduction", representatives of the Legislative Assembly approved a financial protocol between the governments of France and El Salvador, for an amount of € 53 million (US $59 million).
With a $59 million loan from the French government renovation of the water treatment plant in Las Pavas will be undertaken.

Today the commitment of the Republic of France to grant resources for the "Renovation Project of the Water Treatment Plant in Las Pavas", amounting to €53 million euros was formalized.
Preparations are being made for the expansion works, infrastructure renovation and replacement of equipment in the water treatment plant Las Pavas, in the department of La Libertad.
With a loan, which according to the Ministry of Finance has already been approved, the National Administration of Aqueducts and Sewers (ANDA), plans to correct the flaws and renovate the Las Pavas water treatment plant, works estimated at $64.4 million.
The Central American Bank for Economic Integration has approved a loan for technical and physical renovation of the Water Treatment Plant in Las Pavas, in the department of Cuscatlan.

The Central American Bank for Economic Integration (BCIE) has approved a loan the to Republic of El Salvador in the amount of $64.4 million to finance the renovation project on Works for the Collection, Purification and Treatment of the Electromechanical Water Plant Las Pavas, the most important source of drinking water El Salvador.
