Tender: Telematic Control Service

The Ministry of the Interior in Guatemala is putting out to tender equipment rental services for the implementation of telematic control.

Guatemala Government Purchase 7162766:

"The Telematic Control Centers will be installed and put into operation in the properties designated by the Ministry, and delivered to the Receiving and Liquidating Commission appointed by the Superior Authority.

The Data Center of the Main Telematic Control Center must work in coordination with the Secondary Telematic Control Center in an active-active high availability model. The software offered must contain a complete log of all the inherent transactions made through it."

The deadline for receipt of bids is February 19, 2018.

After declaring the first tender void, a new purchase process has been announced for a pilot plan to use electronic bracelets for prisoners.

The process was declared void because the financial offer from the only company that participated in the tender exceeded the amount of $1.5 million which had been budgeted by the Ministry of Justice and Peace for this purchase.

Panama: Tender For Ankle Tags Resumed

July 2015

Canceled after the first call, the Security Ministry has announced that preparations are being made for a new competition in August for a contract worth $10 million.

The tender prepared by the Ministry of Security will be for the supply of one thousand electronic ankle tags, the same as in the first call which was canceled due to complaints from participants.
