Tender: Equipment for Automotive Workshops

In Guatemala, a tender is being launched for the supply and installation of machinery and equipment for the Intecap training centers' auto mechanic workshops.

Guatemala Government Purchase 7579055:

"The Technical Institute of Training and Productivity is inviting bids for the purchase and installation of machinery and equipment for the automotive mechanics standardization project for various training centers.

Some of the equipment required:

- 4 automotive aligners with sensors and software units for American, European and Asian vehicles, with digital reading.
- 12 gas analyzers with maximum temperature of 40 degrees celsius
- 10 tire balancers with 4 wheel rims of number of programs
- 21 smart battery chargers.
- 4 trainers for ABS anti-lock braking system."

The deadline for receipt of bids is April 16, 2018.

Grupo Q is investing $5 million in the construction of an automotive center of 4 thousand square meters, including an exhibition area and vehicle sales, parts and maintenance service area.

Representatives of the distributor of Nissan and Chevrolet, whose headquarters are in El Salvador, believe that the economic growth seen in Nicaragua in recent years has led to the arrival of new investments in different productive sectors.
