Tender: $7 million Building Restoration

The Ministry of Health in Panama is putting out to tender the restoration and adaptation of Building 265, located on Gorgas Street, Ancón district, province of Panama.

Panama Government Purchase 2017-0-12-0-08-LV-023222:

"The project consists of the construction of Building 265 (the former Gorgas Complex), which has a total area of 5,103.52 m2, for the new offices for the Pharmacy and Drugs Department.

In the reforms, "The Open Space Concept" is proposed for the units and sections that make up this department, with the main objective being to optimize the space effectively and maintain a visually pleasant and communicative work environment for the staff. 

In the case of those in charge of departments, which due to their activity require private spaces, this will be done using glass divisions, in aluminum profiles, which will be integrated into the entire space."

Reference value: $7.390.601. 

The deadline for receipt of bids is January 31, 2018.

Building Restoration for $11 million

After the contract award was cancelled, Panama will again tender the integral restoration works of the Reina Torres de Araúz Anthropological Museum.

In 2018, Constructora Pirenaica was awarded the contract for the project, which consists of supplying all the labor, materials, tools, machinery, equipment, transportation and everything necessary to carry out the comprehensive restoration of the museum.

$11 million Museum Restoration Adjudicated

Constructora Pirenaica will be in charge of the restoration work of the Reina Torres de Araúz Anthropological Museum, in Panama.

The award of the contract was made on May 24 and the work involves the supply of all labor, materials, tools, machinery, equipment, transportation, supplies and everything necessary to carry out the work of comprehensive restoration of the museum's facilities.

In Panama the National Institute of Culture is putting out to tender comprehensive architectural restoration of the National Theatre.

Panama Government Purchase 2017-1-30-0-08-LV-009358: 

"Supply of all labor, materials, tools, machinery, equipment, transportation, supplies and everything necessary to carry out the execution of Integral Architectural Restoration work on the National Theater of Panama."
