Tender: Airport Expansion

The Autonomous Port Executive Commission of El Salvador is putting out to tender expansion of the passenger terminal at the Monsenor Óscar Romero international airport.

Government Purchase El Salvador DR-CAFTA-ADACA-UE CEPA-LA-10/2018: 

"The first stage will take place of the expansion of the facilities of the International Airport of El Salvador, Monsignor Óscar Arnulfo Romero and Galdámez.

A new building will be built on three levels, which will contain 5 modern boarding gates with their respective boarding bridges and waiting rooms, as well as circulation corridors and spaces for commercial areas on the second and third levels. There will be a security inspection area for passengers traveling on connections through the Hub and a migration check, implementing the concept of segregation of passengers, with this being located on the third level of the building. Finally, on the first level there will be vehicular traffic lanes and areas for renting to concessionaires, with the three levels together amounting to a surface area of 21,673.00 m 2 of construction.

Included in the project is construction of spaces in the public area for the welcome lobby on the main facade of the building, with an area of 1,543.00 m 2. Services for potable water, sewage, electricity, and the fire-fighting network, will be connected to the connections that are currently being executed as part of the construction projects on external works for the expansion of the airport."

The deadline for receipt of bids is February 15, 2018

For the second time so far this year the Autonomous Executive Port Commission has launched a tender to expand the airport in Comalapa.
