Tender: Advertising Campaign for $6 million

The Electoral Tribunal of Panama will be hiring an advertising agency for the proposed 2019 General Elections.

Panama Government Purchase 2016-0-40-0-08-LV-007 730:

"Hiring of an Advertising Agency for an advertising campaign for the Electoral Tribunal 2017-2019 (General Elections Project 2019).

The agency to be hired by the Electoral Tribunal for the electoral campaign of the general elections in 2019, will handle all advertising campaigns that need to be run by the institution.

The total value of the campaign has been set at five million five hundred 
sixty-four thousand dollars ($ 5, 564,000.00), including 7% of ITBMS. Of this total, two hundred thousand dollars ($200,000.00) corresponds to fees to be paid to the advertising agency for its services and the remaining 5.364 million dollars ($5, 364,000.00) will be allocated to cover campaign costs including production costs, slots, promotion, sponsorship and other related activities described in this specification, with their respective ITBMS, if applicable. The campaign must be developed in three fiscal years, namely 2017, 2018 and 2019, depending on what is determined later.

The Electoral Tribunal reserves the right to not have to invest all of the resources budgeted for the campaign, if that it was it decides."

The deadline for receipt of bids is January 5, 2017.

The Supreme Electoral Tribunal of El Salvador tenders the advertising services for the development of the electoral event 2021.

El Salvador Government Purchase LP-02/TSE/PEE-2021:

"A legal entity, legally constituted as an advertising agency, authorized to operate in the country, or a natural person, with a professional profile in the area of advertising, available to work directly and exclusively for the TSE in the development of its various advertising campaigns for the 2021 electoral process, will be contracted. The company or natural person offering the services must have provable experience in handling accounts for public or private institutions, similar to the provision of services required in these terms of reference, with experience in mass information and educational campaigns.

Political Parties in Panama to Spend $70 million

December 2013

The advertising sector will have a field day with the subsidy the State will give to the parties for the election campaign.  

For the elections of 2014, they will use "$125.5 million of state money for the organization of elections and subsidies to the parties", noted an article in Prensa.com.

Bids Received for Election Advertising Tender

January 2012

Four advertising companies participated in the tender created by the Electoral Tribunal of Panama.

Participating companies were Publicis Fergo with $3.75 million; BYM SA Publicidad, at $3.74 million, In House Advertising, with $3.75 million and Cerebro JCM also with $3.75 million.

Tender for Election Advertising

The Electoral Court of Panama is preparing to tender out the advertising campaign of the general election in 2014.

A press release by the Electoral Court reads:

About ten companies have responded to an invitation from the Electoral Tribunal to participate in a tender for an advertising campaign for the general election, to be launched in 2012 and concluding in 2014 with the election process.
